ABOUT DAVID OLARTE
David Olarte is a Phoenix, Arizona–based salsa dancer, instructor, and co-director of Stilo Dance Company, known for his commitment to building inclusive and unbiased spaces within the Latin dance community. His approach to teaching is rooted in accessibility, growth, and respect for dancers at all levels, creating an environment where individuals feel supported, challenged, and empowered to develop their own style.
Passionate about sharing his knowledge, David places a strong emphasis on fundamentals, musicality, and technique, while encouraging continuous learning both on and off the dance floor. Beyond training and performance, his work is driven by a larger vision of contributing to and elevating the Latin dance community in Arizona. Through mentorship, collaboration, and community-building, he continues to play an active role in fostering a more connected, inclusive, and thriving dance scene.
