Stilo Dance Company

Stilo Dance Company is a Phoenix, Arizona–based Latin dance team directed by David Olarte and Carla Leon Celaya, known for its strong foundation in salsa, technical precision, and high-energy, performance-driven choreography. Stilo has grown into a respected name within the Phoenix Latin dance scene. The team emphasizes musicality, clean execution, and performance quality, while cultivating a supportive environment that pushes dancers to elevate both their skill and confidence.

Over the years, Stilo has expanded its presence through performances, local showcases, and national competitions, continuing to refine its identity and standard of excellence. Most recently, the team has seen competitive success, earning 1st place at the Latin Hustle & Salsa United Congress, along with multiple 2nd and 3rd place finishes across several categories at The Summit in New Jersey. These achievements reflect not only the team’s technical growth, but also the dedication and consistency of its dancers and leadership.

With a focus on fundamentals, technique, and consistency, this team provides a supportive environment for growth and progression. Perfect for Beginner and Intermediate dancers.

Mixto Footwork Team

The Mixto Footwork Team, directed by David, is dedicated to developing speed, precision, and creativity through intricate footwork and shines. Open to all genders, this team focuses on musicality and rhythm, helping dancers build strong solo performance skills and versatility on the dance floor.

Ladies Styling Team

Directed by Carla , the Ladies Styling Team focuses on confidence, technique, and expression. This team emphasizes body movement, musicality, and performance quality, creating a space for women to develop their personal style while training and performing together.
