Residency
This residency creates an immersive learning experience where students engage Afro-Latin dance as both practice and cultural expression. Through classes, workshops, and creative development, students build technique, deepen cultural understanding, and collaborate toward a final performance or community-based event.
Embodied Leadership Training
An embodied leadership and followership workshop designed to explore leadership through movement, partnership, and nonverbal communication. Participants engage in guided exercises rooted in Afro-Latin partner dance to examine trust, listening, adaptability, and shared responsibility. The experience invites participants to step outside traditional leadership models and practice relational leadership in real time, with direct application to team dynamics, decision-making, and organizational culture.
Curriculum Consultant
Design and implementation of culturally grounded, movement-based curriculum that integrates Afro-Latin dance, history, and embodied practice into academic and community settings.
